Raiders Release Regular Season Schedule

Prince Albert, SK - The Prince Albert Raiders announced their schedule for the 2016-17 WHL Regular Season on Monday.
The Raiders open the regular season with a home-and-home series with the Regina Pats, beginning on Friday, September 23 in Regina. The following night, the Raiders host the Pats at the Art Hauser Centre in their home opener.
Of the Raiders' 36 home games, 22 will be played on Friday (14) and Saturday (8). All of the Raiders' home games begin at 7:00 PM, with the exception of three dates. The Sunday games on October 2 and January 15 both begin at 4:00 PM. The Raiders also host the Regina Pats on Monday, February 20 in a Family Day match-up that begins at 4:00 PM.
The longest homestand for the Raiders is a six-game stint at the Art Hauser Centre from February 25 to March 10. The longest road trip is the Raiders' biennial excursion to B.C. The trip sees the Raiders play five games in eight nights against the B.C. Division. Last season, the Raiders finished with a 3-1-1-0 record against the B.C. Division when they visited Prince Albert, claiming victories over the Kelowna Rockets, Prince George Cougars and Vancouver Giants.
