Reading Fightin Phils News Release
The R-Phils (10-16) failed to earn a series sweep, as they dropped the finale of a rain-shortened three-game set to the Portland Sea Dogs (14-11) on Thursday afternoon in Portland, ME.
Reading will open a three-game series with the Akron Aeros on Friday evening, with first-pitch set for 7:05 p.m. in the opener. RHP Phillippe Aumont (1-1, 4.63) will take the hill for Reading, while the Aeros will counter with RHP Paolo Espino (1-1, 4.15).
