Quentin Shore Recalled by Ontario Reign

MANCHESTER, N.H. - Manchester Monarchs Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations, Rich Seeley, announced today that Quentin Shore has been recalled to the AHL by the Ontario Reign.

The Monarchs are the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Los Angeles Kings and the American Hockey League's Ontario Reign.

Shore, 22, returns to the Reign on his second career call to the AHL after playing 10 games with the Monarchs since being returned from loan Feb. 25. This season with the Monarchs, Shore has scored 43 points on 18 goals and 25 assists in 56 games, and has played seven games in Ontario without recording a point.

The 6-foot-2, 183-pound native of Denver, Colo., played collegiately for the University of Denver for four seasons, accumulating 98 points on 40 goals and 58 assists in 151 games. Shore was drafted by the Ottawa Senators in the sixth round (#168 overall) of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.

The Monarchs are back on the ice Wednesday, Mar. 22 (7 p.m.), when they visit the Reading Royals at Santander Arena in a North Division showdown with playoff implications on the line.

The Monarchs return to SNHU Arena ice Saturday, Apr. 1 (6 p.m.), when they begin a two-game series with the Elmira Jackals on Fan Appreciation Weekend!
