Pugh Makes First Start of Season

The Snappers will head into the Major League All-Star game with a sour taste in their mouth as they fall to West Michigan 7-3 Monday night.

Making his first start of the season Bruce Pugh had a solid outing by going four innings while only giving up one hit and one earned run, Pugh also had six strike outs as well.

Right fielder Michael Harrington who entered Monday night's game tied for third in doubles in the Midwest League went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and added to his doubles total now standing at 24.

The Snappers will take Tuesday off and will head to Iowa to take on the Burlington Bees, when they resume play Wednesday night. The Snappers will be back at Pohlman Field on Wednesday, July 22nd will they host the Cedar Rapids Kernels, with the first pitch scheduled for 7:00pm.
