Pszenyczny Loaned To Toronto Marlies

PHOENIX, Ariz. - The Phoenix RoadRunners of the ECHL, a proud affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes and San Antonio Rampage, have announced that defenseman Dave Pszenyczny has signed an amateur try-out contract with the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League.

Pszenyczny, 21, tallied a career-high 15 goals and 53 points in 58 games split between the Mississauga Ice Dogs and Barrie Colts of the Ontario Hockey League during the 2005-06 season to finish 10th among OHL defensemen in scoring. The Sterling Heights, Mich. native paced the Colts to the OHL semifinals with 12 assists and 14 points in 14 games before falling to the eventual champion Peterborough Petes. He completed his junior career with 51 goals, 82 assists, and 133 points in 261 games.

Pszenyczny is reunited with Marlies Head Coach Greg Gilbert whom he played for during the 2004-05 season while in Mississauga.

Individual game tickets for the 2006-07 regular season are currently on sale and can be purchased at the US Airways Center Box Office and at all Ticketmaster outlets including Ticketmaster.com.

Opening Night 2006 at US Airways Center is this Friday as the RoadRunners welcome the Utah Grizzlies at 7:11PM for the first game of an opening weekend three-game series. Information on season tickets, half-season packages, and flex plans are available by calling (602) 462-GOAL.
