Providence Bruins News Release
Manchester, NH -- The Providence Bruins fell to the Manchester Monarchs 3-0 this evening at the Verizon Wireless Center.

However, their efforts went unrewarded as they went into the final intermission trailing by one goal.
With the game still up for grabs in the early minutes of the third, each team got quality opportunities. However, Manchester took a 2-0 lead at 7:14 when Tanner Pearson collected the rebound from a shot from the point. Despite a last ditch effort from the P-Bruins, the Monarchs secured the win with a late empty net goal at 18:33.
Niklas Svedberg's 27 saves weren't enough as he suffered the loss. Jones' 18 saves earned him the win. Providence went six-for-six on the penalty kill.
