Predators Reassign Gamache

Nashville Predators Executive Vice President/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has reassigned Simon Gamache (see-MOHN ga-MAHSH) to the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League on a conditioning assignment.

The Thetford Mines, PQ native was the Admirals leading scorer last season with 86 points (29-57) in 80 games, finishing fifth in the AHL in points. He also topped the Ads roster in goals, assists, power-play goals, and game-winning goals. Gamache, who was selected as a First Team AHL All-Star last season, was sixth in the league in assists and power play tallies.

Over the past two seasons, Gamache has 47 goals and 84 assists for 131 points in an Admirals Sweater. He was the second leading scorer in the AHL in the 2004 Calder Cup Playoffs, helping the Admirals capture their first professional title.
