Predators Reassign Bang, Henderson

Milwaukee, WI-- Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled forward Filip Forsberg from Milwaukee (AHL), while assigning forwards Daniel Bang and Kevin Henderson to the Admirals. In addition, the Admirals have recalled forward Josh Shalla from the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL.
Bang has played in Nashville's last seven games - his first NHL contests - recording two points (2a). The Kista, Sweden native has 22 points (9g-13a) in 53 games for the Admirals during his first North American season. Prior to signing with the Predators last summer, the 6-3, 201-pound power forward spent six seasons with AIK's senior team, posting 121 points (60g-61a) in 258 games.
Henderson scored a goal in his NHL debut last Friday at Chicago. He has 29 points (17g-12a) in 67 games during his second season with the Admirals, and 76 points (31g-45a) in 234 AHL games with Milwaukee and Worchester since 2009.
Shalla has three goals and nine assists in 32 games with Milwaukee this season. The Oshawa, ON native had 21 goals in just 37 games for the Cyclones, and helped Cincy to a 5-0 win over Gwinnett on Wednesday night in the Kelly Cup Playoffs.
The Admirals will take on the Texas Stars in the Western Conference Quarterfinals beginning with games one and two at the BMO Harris Bradley Center tonight and Saturday at 7:00 pm.
Tickets and are priced less than regular season tickets again this year. Seats in the Admirals Quarters (all seats on the glass) will run $19.60, tickets are $16.60for Mid-Deck seats (sections 225-203 and 211-217), $13.25 for Stern and Bow (behind goals and in corners, handicap platform, and child seats. In addition, groups of ten or more still get a minimum of $2 off each ticket.
