Popular PBS Character Arthur to Visit Syracuse Crunch

Syracuse, NY- Arthur, the popular children's character, will be at the War Memorial Wednesday, Feb. 20 night when the Syracuse Crunch take on the Toronto Marlies at 7 p.m.

Children will have the opportunity to get their pictures taken with Arthur in Memorial Hall during both intermissions. He will also take part in other promotions throughout the night.

Arthur is the star of an animated educational program on PBS and the Arthur book series. ARTHUR the television series is based on the best-selling books from Marc Brown, is the longest running kids animated series on television. Over the past 15 seasons, ARTHUR has remained one of the highest rated weekday children's series on PBS among children ages 6-11. ARTHUR has won numerous awards, including six Daytime Emmys, four of which were for Outstanding Children's Animated Program.

The Crunch continue a five-game road trip tonight when they face the Albany Devils. The club's next home game is Wednesday, Feb. 20 against the Toronto Marlies.
