Granville, WV- RHP Dovydas Neverauskas became the first former West Virginia Black Bear to receive a major league promotion after being called up to play for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Neverauskas will join the team in Pittsburgh where they are currently playing a three-game home series against the Chicago Cubs.

Born in Lithuania and signed by the Pirates at the age of 16, Neverauskas will become the second Lithuanian to ever play in a major league game.
