MONCTON N.B. - The Moncton Wildcats are very excited to announce a brand new addition to the auction process for our Pink in the Rink jerseys. This year we have partnered with Allen's Auction Centre to bring a new dimension to the bidding process, which will allow a much better opportunity for Wildcats fans all over to come away with a jersey!

Traditionally we would have a silent auction table set up during the games where customers would come and physically bid on a piece of paper; we will still have that option again this year but there is also an online component. All of the player jerseys and coaches ties will be imputed into an online auction page through Allen's Auction. All you need in order to bid is to set up an account with your name and email address, no credit card information is required. Allen's Auction will have staff set-up on the mezzanine during both games on Friday and Saturday to help people set up an account to bid online. All of the physical bids placed on sheets at the game will also be imputed by staff from Allen's Auction so that all of the platforms correctly correspond with each other. People can place bids on their computers at home, or on their phones/ tablet during the games! After the games are completed on Friday and Saturday, fans will still have the option to continue bidding on Sunday until 5:00 p.m.

Director of Business Operations, Ryan Jenner had this to say about the new partnership. "We are very excited to be working with Allen's Auction Centre this year for our Pink in the Rink jersey auction. It is a great feature to be able to provide our fans, especially those who cannot make the game or live out of province. This way everyone has a fair chance to bid on the jerseys and parents, friends and family who live away will be able to have that opportunity that they never had before. We are looking forward to this weekend's games and raising a lot of money for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation!"

The auction will go live on Friday October 21st at 5:00 p.m. and close on Sunday October 23rd at 5:00 p.m. With the online auction there is something called a soft close that will be implemented as well. For example, if you make a bid at 4:58 p.m. on Sunday evening it will automatically add another three minutes to the biding window for that jersey, and will continue like that until there are no more bids. It is also important to remember that your bid will not register if it does not comply with the minimum bid increase value, which was the same for the paper version as well.

"Allen's Auction Centre is very excited to be partnered with the Moncton Wildcats to bring this value added online component to the Wildcats fans as well as the community," said owner Matthew Allen. "We've had such great support from the community, it is nice to be able to give back in this way to benefit the fans and this great charity."

We will announce all of the winners on Monday morning October 24th on social media, along with our website.
