Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will look for their fifth straight win when they host the Toledo Mud Hens on Saturday night. First pitch from Coca-Cola Park is slated for 6:35 p.m.

RHP Mark Appel (3-2, 3.58) gets the ball for the IronPigs on Saturday night. Appel got a no-decision on Monday vs. Syracuse when he gave up three runs on three hits to go along with four walks and six strikeouts in 5.2 IP. Over his last 3 GS, the right-hander is 0-2 with a 6.32 ERA (15.2/11).

LHP Daniel Norris (0-4, 8.06) will be on the bump for the Mud Hens. The southpaw was tagged with the loss on Monday at Buffalo when he allowed three runs on eight hits while walking one and fanning four in 7.0 IP. In five starts with Toledo this season, Norris has held lefties to a .100 average (2-20). The Johnson City, Tenn., native also appeared in one game with the Tigers this season and tossed a scoreless inning.

After tossing a scoreless inning on Friday, IronPigs RHP Edubray Ramos has now started his Triple-A career with 8.1 scoreless IP. In that time, the right-hander is 1-0 with seven hits and nine strikeouts over his 8.1 IP.

There will be Postgame Fireworks presented by PSECU following the game. The IronPigs will also be donning special Superhero jerseys on Superhero Night. Tonight's jersey auction benefits the Childrens Miracle Network and IronPigs Charities. Fans can bid from anywhere to receive the game-worn, autographed jerseys and do not need to be present to win. For those that are able to attend tonight's game, winning bidders can take the field after the game to receive their autographed jersey directly from the player.
