Photo Contest Launched for PLAYBALL Cover

AUGUSTA, GA - The Augusta GreenJackets, Single-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, are giving fans the opportunity to showcase their best GreenJackets picture. One lucky fan will be chosen to be featured on the program cover, PLAYBALL, during the opening homestand, April 14th-20th.

"The Augusta GreenJackets are excited to include our fans in this unique opportunity!" stated Tom Denlinger General Manager. "We encourage fans to find their best picture and to showcase your GreenJackets spirit to the CSRA."

To qualify, submissions must be pictures of what fans' believe embody GreenJackets spirit. All pictures must be appropriate, family friendly, high-resolution and vertical. The contest runs from Thursday, March 24th at 5pm, through Friday, April 1st at 12pm. The pictures can range from pictures of Lake Olmstead Stadium, with Auggie or your family at a GreenJackets game.

iii. Tag the GreenJackets and use the #AGJplayball in post

To qualify to win fans must:

vi. In post, tweet at the GreenJackets and us the #AGJplayball

Instagram

To qualify to win fans must:

viii. Post a picture of GreenJackets Spirit

ix. In picture post, mention the GreenJackets and use the #AGJplayball

Throughout the week, fans can submit their photos. The GreenJackets staff will then review submissions and will re-post entries that qualify for the cover.

The GreenJackets are asking for fans to submit their photos on one of the following social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Fans are more than welcome to post photos on more than one social media platform, but only one is needed to qualify!

The GreenJackets kick off their 28th consecutive season of professional baseball in Augusta on Thursday, April 14th against the Charleston RiverDogs (NY Yankees).
