Philadelphia Union to Hold "Throwback Night"

CHESTER, Pa. - As a sign of fan appreciation, Philadelphia Union will host "Throwback Night" on Saturday, May 6 during the club's contest against the New York Red Bulls. A special promotion designed to take fans back in time, supporters will see benefits to throwback night manifest in multiple ways, including discounts and a modern interpretation of a fan favorite jersey that the Union will wear prior to the match this Saturday.
Among the scheduled features and activities for Throwback Night, supporters will be able to purchase select concessions at throwback prices . Set to be available across Talen Energy Stadium at specific concession stands, the offers include $1 popcorn, $2 nachos, $2 pretzels, $2 candy, $3 Turkey Hill drinks, $3 Cracker Jacks and $3 Union Dogs.
During warm-ups, the Union will wear black limited edition jerseys in homage to the original Bethlehem Steel FC. A new interpretation of the third jersey introduced during the 2013 season, the warm-up jersey will be available to purchase in limited quantities at the Union Shop during the match. Throwback Night will also see the implementation of retro-themed videoboard graphics and throwback scoreboard videos.
Supporters wearing the original gold 2010 Union jersey can receive 20% off at the Union Shop. Additionally, fans can enjoy music from the 80s and 90s played throughout the Eastern Conference contest.
The match kicks off on Saturday, May 6 at 7:00 p.m. ET and is set to be televised on The Comcast Network. In addition to Season Tickets, fans can now purchase Partial Plans and Group Tickets for all Philadelphia Union matches at Talen Energy Stadium. For the first time, the Union will be offering a Fully Flex 9 Game Plan where fans can select their games along with a Tiered Flex 5 Game plan.
