Philadelphia Union Part Ways with Peter Pappas

CHESTER, Pa. - Philadelphia Union have announced the club has terminated the contract of broadcaster Peter Pappas, effective immediately. Pappas was a part-time contracted employee with the organization since 2012.
"After reviewing the situation, we have decided to part ways with Peter Pappas," Union Chief Business Officer Tim McDermott said. "We want to thank him for his hard work and service to the club for five years."
Pappas served as the color analyst on TV broadcasts since the beginning of the 2014 season. Prior to that, he also served on radio broadcasts and team's pre-game show.
