Phantoms' Calder Cup Celebration set for Monday

(PHILADELPHIA) - The Philadelphia Phantoms are inviting their fans to a celebration of the team's 2005 Calder Cup Championship on Monday, June 13 at the Wachovia Center at 6:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the general public.

Flyers and Phantoms television personality Steve Coates and Phantoms public address announcer Keith Jones will be co-hosting the festivities. The entire team and coaching staff will be recognized for winning the second American Hockey League championship in franchise history. There will be giveaways, video tributes and merchandise on sale at the concession stands on the main concourse.

Prior to the ceremony, there will be a block party inside the Wachovia Center at the 11th St. atrium beginning at 5:30 p.m. with food, beverages and live entertainment. Parking is free.

The Phantoms defeated the Chicago Wolves on Friday, June 10 to complete a sweep of the Calder Cup finals.
