Phantoms Announce Official Partnership with Max Athletic Training

YOUNGSTOWN, OH -The Youngstown Phantoms are proud to announce their partnership with Max Athletic Training as their official team training facility for the 2017-2018 United States Hockey League (USHL) season.
Max Athletic Training facility in Boardman, Ohio hosted the Phantoms' team workouts through training camp in September, and will continue to host team workouts for the USHL's regular season which ends in April, as well as the playoffs in April and May. Workouts will occur twice weekly all season and provide an elite training environment for the team's Division I committed college hockey players, as well at their NHL and pro prospects.
"We have been very fortunate and grateful to be able to work with Ted Rendinell (owner/operator) and his fine facility" said Phantoms' General manager Jason Koehler. "Max Athletic Training is a first class facility for high level athletes and even beginners. Our players have been enjoying the benefits of the professional set up and staff there for the last few seasons and we're excited to continue this relationship and let the Youngstown athletic community know."
Max Athletic Training facility has been in operation for six seasons and this is the sixth season the Phantoms have called the Boardman area training facility home.
"I was honored to be chosen as the official training facility of the Youngstown Phantoms," said Max Athletic Training owner Ted Rendinell. The facility and staff offer a variety of strength and conditioning training and programs for individulas, groups, and teams at a variety of age groups, skill levels, athletic abilities, and maturity levels. The training programs cater to the individual athlete, no "cookie cutter" programs. The Youngstown Phantoms currently have twenty two (22) Division One college committed players on their roster, destined for schools such as Michigan, Michigan State, Bowling Green, Notre Dame, Yale, and Harvard. The Phantoms' also have one previously drafted NHL prospect on their current roster - goaltender Wouter Peeters (Chicago Blackhawks 2016 3rd round selection) and current high school senior and Chagrin Falls native Curtis Hall is projected to be selected in this June's 2018 NHL Entry Draft.
