Petes to Celebrate Local Agriculture at Thursday's Game Versus Owen Sound

February 7, 2018 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL) - Peterborough Petes News Release

(Peterborough, ON) - The Petes will host the Owen Sound Attack for the only time this season on Thursday, February 8 at 7:05pm.

Grain Farmers of Ontario are proud to sponsor Thursday's game, which will celebrate the Peterborough agriculture community. Fans are invited to collect the Good in Every Grain Petes hockey card after the game from Norm Lamothe, a local grain farmer who will be on hand to answer questions about grain farming.

The national anthem will be performed by Janet Laurie, a sprout vendor at the Peterborough Farmers' Market.

Thursday's game is the only chance in the regular season for fans to see Jonah Gadjovich, a member of Canada's gold medal-winning National Junior Team, and electric goal scorer and Vegas Golden Knights prospect Nick Suzuki.

Game tickets are available starting at $8 through the Collins Barrow PMC Box Office, online, or by phone at (705) 743-3561.

Flex Packs are the most affordable and convenient way to see the Petes in action through the remainder of the season. 10 and 20 packs can be used in any combination at any regular season Petes home game. Call Steve at (705) 743-3681 ext. 263, or send him an email, for more information.
