Penguins Sign Farnham to AHL Contract

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have signed forward Bobby Farnham to an American Hockey League contract.

Skating in his first full professional season, Farnham was signed to professional tryout agreement by the Penguins on Nov. 11 and has recorded two assists and 51 penalty minutes in 11 games.

Farnham began the year with the Wheeling Nailers, where he posted three goals, one assist and 46 penalty minutes in nine games.

Originally from North Andover, MA, Farnham totaled 54 points (23g-31a) and 126 PIM over 129 contests as a four-year letterman at Brown University.

Farnham, 23, made his pro debut following his senior season with the Bears, signing an amateur tryout agreement with the Providence Bruins on Mar. 7 and appearing in three games. He also played in three games for Worcester after agreeing to an ATO with the Sharks on Apr. 12.
