WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that forward Chris Barton has been released from his professional tryout agreement (PTO).
Barton, 25, signed his second PTO of the season with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Feb. 1 and has totaled four appearances this year with the Penguins, amassing six penalty minutes.
