Penguins Reassign Harrison Ruopp

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that defenseman Harrison Ruopp has been reassigned by the Pittsburgh Penguins (NHL) from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton to the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL).

In 27 games with Wheeling this season, Ruopp has earned two goals and two assists for four points and 61 penalty minutes.

Ruopp has played in four games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this season and made his season debut on Jan. 16, 2016 at Syracuse.

The third-year pro has previously played in 28 regular season games for the Penguins over the course of the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons.

The Penguins' next home game is Saturday, Jan. 30, against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. Limited seats are still available.
