Pats Support Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October 4, 2007 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Regina Pats News Release

Regina, Saskatchewan -This morning, your Regina Pats announced that once again they will be supporting breast cancer awareness month.

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month and your Regina Pats and Southland Mall have teamed up once again to raise funds for Breast Cancer Research and Recovery by producing an exclusive Pink Pats Cap. The cap features the Pats heritage logo in white & grey trim, with a pink front and white mesh back.

All proceeds from the sale of Pink Pats Caps will go directly to the Canadian Cancer Society's Reach To Recovery (R2R) Fund.

"We are pleased to participate in this promotion in support of Breast Cancer Month. The sale of the Pink Pats Hats and the auction of the pink sticks last year was a tremendous success and our hope is that we will be able to duplicate the success of last season and to make the Rink Pink during October." - Commented Pats General Manager Brent Parker.

The caps will be available all month long at the Pats Neutral Zone, and Regina's Southland Mall Customer Care Kiosk - a supporting sponsor of this initiative.

The caps will be available for purchase beginning on Friday, October 5th, when the Pats play host to the Moose Jaw Warriors, game time at the Brandt Centre is 7:00pm.
