Weal to U-18's
17 year old forward Jordan Weal was named to Canada's World U-18 squad that will take part in the World Championships later this month in Belarus. He is the 11th player/coach from the Regina Pats to play for Canada at the summer international tournament. The 2010 IIHF World Under-18 Championship opens for Canada on April 13 in Bobruisk when it takes on Switzerland. The Canadians will also face Belarus, Sweden and the United States in the preliminary round.
NHL Scouting Combine
The busy summer for Jordan Weal continues in late May with the NHL Draft Combine. 100 players that are eligible for the 2010 Entry Draft, June 25th and 26th in Los Angeles have been invited to take part in the combine. Weal will join 18 year old Pats defenceman, Brandon Davidson in the event that runs May 24th to the 29th in Toronto.
NHL Central Scouting Final Rankings
The National Hockey League's Central Scouting Bureau's final North American rankings have 2 Regina Pat players ranked in the top 50 skaters. Jordan Weal is the 30th ranked skater while Brandon Davidson is the 48th ranked skater in North America.
Eberle Continues to Roll
Jordan Eberle has finished his 2009-10 season with his second straight point a game effort in Springfield. The 2008 1st round pick of the Edmonton Oilers is back with their AHL affiliate to finish the season and has 9 points in his first eight games and will finish up the regular season this weekend.
Teubert Scores his 1st Pro Goal
Colten Teubert has had a fantastic end to the regular season with the ECHL's Ontario Reign. The 2008 1st round draft pick of the Los Angeles Kings has finished the season with their ECHL affiliate for the second year in a row. In 10 games he has a goal and 2 assists, including a goal and a helper Saturday night in Las Vegas. During that game, Teubert was also a +4 and was the game's third star.
Admiral Ashton
The 2009 Tampa Bay Lightning first round pick has finished off the season with the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League. In nine games, he has picked up a goal.
McColm in Sunny Florida
20 year old defenceman, Mitch McColm inked an ATO (Amateur Tryout Offer) with the Florida Everblades of the ECHL on March 19th. On March 31st, he was released from his ATO and signed a standard ECHL professional contract, which means he will play for the rest of the season and the playoffs with the Everblades.

2010-11 Regina Pats season tickets are now available, with early bird ticket prices on sale now! Adults can get premium seats for just $350.00 (less than $10 per game), with all east end balcony seat on for $199.00. Early bird ticket deadline is May 31st. Busy Schedule
The Regina Pats Hockey Club is busy getting ready for the 2010-11 season. The front office and scouting staff are on the hunt for the newest members of the hockey club, all in preparation for the WHL Bantam draft on April 29th in Edmonton.
