Regina Pats (11-16-2-2) Saskatoon Blades (13-14-0-1)

Head-to-Head

The Pats and Blades go toe-to-toe for their third meeting of the season this evening. The Blades lead the season series two games to none after 3-2 and 6-3 victories. Morgan Klimchuk and Lane Scheidl are the top Pats in the season set with four points each. At the other end of the ice, Shane McColgan has enjoyed his time playing the Pats with six points in the two games. Coming into tonight's game the Pats look to regroup after being heavily outscored in their previous two games. The Blades hope to right the ship as they find themselves on a two game losing streak. Tonight's game can be heard on 620 CKRM starting with the Press Box Sports Bar Pre-Game Show at 6:35 p.m.

Lead Up: Rebels Spoil Party

After a pre-game celebration honouring Jordan Eberle's jersey retirement, the Pats couldn't keep the party going against the Red Deer Rebels. Rhyse Dieno busted out for four points on the night as he led the Rebels to a 5-1 victory over the Pats. Adam Rossignol had the lone Pats goal.

Getting Guys Back

Trent Ouellette and Emil Sylvegard got back into the lineup Wednesday night after missing fifteen games and four games respectively. As they came back in, Luke Fenske came out, missing the Pats' previous game with an upper body injury.

Testy Affair

The last time the Pats and Blades met, it was a wild one. The teams combined for 159 penalty minutes including 14 fighting majors and 11 roughing minors.

Roster Moves

The Pats made a pair of roster moves Thursday, reassigning forward Ty McLean to the Weyburn Red Wings of the SJHL and forward Henry Hardarson to the Phoenix Firebirds of the NAPH18.
