Pasquale Nets League Goaltending Honors

Saginaw, MI) Saginaw Spirit goalie Edward Pasquale netted several honors over the week, the latest of which was being named to the Ontario Hockey League's Third Team All-Star. Pasquale was also ranked third in voting for the OHL's Goaltender of the Year honors.

Pasquale secured 19 votes in the All-Star Team voting, with Belleville Bulls goalie Mike Murphy being named to the First Team and Brampton Battalions Thomas McCollum being named to the Second Team. The OHL All-Star Teams were selected by the league's General Managers. Players received five points for a first place vote, three for a second place vote, and one for a third. Murphy and McCollum also edged out Pasquale in the Goaltender of the Year Honors, as voted on by the General Managers.

The 1990-born Toronto, Ontario native posted a standout season with the Spirit, earning a 0.911 save percentage and 3.02 goals against average. He also represented Saginaw at the 2009 OHL All-Star Classic and the CHL-NHL Home Hardware Top Prospects Game.
