OTTAWA, ON - Giuseppe Gentile tallied his fourth goal in six contests to open the scoring and Romauld Peiser made several clutch saves on the night, but Fury FC were undone by a pair of second half goals from Michel and Billy Forbes and fell 3-1 to Rayo OKC as Rayo extends their unbeaten streak to eight games and moves into a tie with the Minnesota for the fourth and final postseason position.

"I'm disappointed," said Fury FC head coach Paul Dalglish following the match. "At the beginning of the match I felt that we had control of the game, but once OKC scored we started playing a type of soccer I've never seen us play before."

"I felt that we deserved to win tonight," added Dalglish. "We dominated again. Playing on the road in this league is never easy and you always have to take advantage of your chances - we didn't tonight, but I remain proud of these guys and their effort."

It was a relatively quiet start to the match until Billy Forbes found space behind Ottawa's back line, but a challenge from Rafael Alves and Romuald Peiser denied the Turks and Caicos International of an opening goal.

Ottawa would open the scoring in the 28th minute when the red hot Gentile headed home a perfectly placed cross from Carl Haworth sending Fury FC in front on his fifth goal of the season.

Eight minutes later Rayo would pull level after a defensive mishap inside Ottawa's 18-yard box saw Futty Danso find Michel who side-footed it into an open goal to tie the match on his 13th goal of the season.

Ottawa pressured late, but were denied a scoring chance on the final corner of the half after a dive from Yuma was missed leading to a foul called against Gentile.

It was the Romuald Peiser show to start the second half. The veteran keeper made two clutch saves four minutes apart. First, Peiser denied Sebastien Ibeagha dive to parrying away his header off the goal line and then tipped Futty Danso's header over the bar to keep the match level at 1-1.

In the 61st minute, Yuma spotted a streaking Billy Forbes and send a long ball over the Ottawa defence springing Forbes on a breakaway. The veteran made no mistake beating Peiser for his third goal of the season to put OKC ahead.

Ottawa would push for an equalizer, but Williams, Tissot, Gentile and Haworth could not find that goal-bound strike to get Ottawa back level.

In the 84th minute, Michel ensured that Rayo would claim all three points when he finished the pass from Forbes for his second of the match sending OKC to victory with a 3-1 score and into a tie with Minnesota as the hunt for the fourth and final NASL postseason position heats up further heading into the final two weeks of the season.

Fury FC will once again be on the road next weekend when they visit Tampa Bay on October 22 looking to spoil the Rowdies postseason hopes. Fury FC return home on October 29 at 2 p.m. to take on the Fort Lauderdale Strikers on Fan Appreciation Day at TD Place - the final game of the NASL Regular Season.
