Dubuque Fighting Saints News Release

DUBUQUE, Iowa - The USHL league office announced the recipients of the weekly honors on Monday afternoon. Forward Dallas Gerads was named forward of the week, and defenseman Keegan Ford was named defenseman of the week for week 20 of the USHL season.

Gerads dominated the weekend for the Fighting Saints, tallying a hat trick, the first of his USHL career, as well as an assist in the 7-3 win over the Omaha Lancers on Friday night. He also added a goal in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders. His ten goals on the season now tie him for third on the team.

Ford, the team captain, carried the load defensively for the Fighting Saints. He made his mark offensively as well, posting three assists in the two games this past weekend. The Michigan Tech commit ranks third in the USHL among defensemen with seven goals, and sixth among defensemen in points with 23.
