Windsor Spitfires News Release
(Windsor, ON) - General Manager Warren Rychel has acquired a pair of additional picks for Saturday's Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection.
Headed to Windsor are Barrie's 3rd round pick (#56 overall) and Saginaw's 7th rounder (#125 overall), along with Kingston's 6th round pick in 2019.
In return, Saginaw receives Sudbury's 2nd round pick in 2021.
"We're in really good shape with now four picks in the first fifty-six," Rychel said. "And we should be able to add a good player with the additional seventh. This could be one of our deepest drafts in years."
The 2018 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection is set to begin at 9am on Saturday, with the Spitfires holding the 10th overall pick.
