The early innings lived up to be a see-saw afair, when the Raptors took a 1-0 lead in the first inning on Owlz starting pitcher Chris Rodriguez .

The Owlz tied the game on catcher Keinner Pina 's RBI-single in the bottom half of the inning, but didn't take their first lead of the game until the second inning--when shortstop Leonardo Rivas cleared the bases for the Owlz with a two-run triple that made the score 3-2.
