The Evansville Otters (16-7) continue their week-long, six game roadtrip with the series opener at the Washington Wild Things (14-9) tonight.

The weekend will feature a battle for first place. Evansville has the best record in the Frontier League and East Division as Washington sits just two games behind Evansville.

1B/OF Nick Schwaner is currently in the midst of a eight game hitting streak, including home runs in two of his last three games. 1B Andrew Clark is on a seven game hitting streak as INF/OF Taylor Black has hit safely in four straight games for the Evansville Otters.

After losing the first series of the season, Evansville has won seven consecutive series, including all three road series (Traverse City, Schaumburg, Lake Erie).

The Otters will have left-hander Ryan Zamorsky (3-0, 0.00 ERA) on the mound tonight against fellow lefty Shawn Smith (2-1, 2.58).

First pitch is set for 7:05 pm EDT at Consol Energy Park in Washington, Pennsylvania.

The game will be broadcast on WUEV 91.5 FM starting at 5:45 pm CDT.
