Erie Otters News Release

The Erie Otters of the Ontario Hockey League today announced that the first home game at Tullio Arena for the first round of the 2010 OHL Playoffs will be played Sunday, March 21 at 4:30 p.m.

Although the opponent is still undetermined, all tentative schedules between the Otters and the London Knights, Kitchener Rangers and Windsor Spitfires share the same date for Game 2 at Tullio Arena. All possible playoff series will have a format in which the two teams will rotate home games (higher seed with the odd games, lower seed with the even games).

Tickets will go on sale for the first round of the OHL playoffs starting at 10:00 a.m. Monday morning. They can be purchased at Erie-area Ticketmaster outlets, the Civic Center box office, ottershockey.com, or by calling 452-4857. Information on Otters playoff and 2010-11 season tickets can be directed to the Otters' office at 455-7779.

The Otters play the Guelph Storm on the road tonight at 7:30 p.m. Fans can listen to the online broadcast at ottershockey.com or in the Erie-area on 1330 AM The Fan, Fox Sports Radio.

Fan Appreciation Night is tomorrow night at 7:00 p.m. when the Otters battle the London Knights to close out the regular season. The first 1,000 fans will receive heart-shaped stress balls courtesy of Hamot Heart Institute. There will also be prize giveaways throughout the evening, and the Otters will wear green jerseys and skate on green ice to commemorate St. Patrick's Day. Following the game, Key West Express will perform in a concert sponsored by Erie General Electric Federal Credit Union. The game is sponsored by Hertel and Brown Physical Therapy, Greenfield Basket Factory and the Northwest Pennsylvania CW.
