Ottawa Recalls Defensemen Mark Borowiecki

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Ottawa Senators of the National Hockey League announced today they have recalled defensemen Mark Borowiecki from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.

Borowiecki, 24, currently leads Binghamton with 27 penalty minutes with no points while appearing in all of the B-Sens nine games. A native of Ottawa, the 6-2, 205-pound defensemen has appeared in eight NHL games, all with Ottawa, registering no points while compiling 20 penalty minutes.

Ottawa will host the Dallas Stars tomorrow afternoon in a 1 p.m. matchup at the Canadian Tire Center.

Binghamton returns to action tonight as they host division rival the Syracuse Crunch in a 7:05 p.m. puck drop. Tonight will be Ladies Night at the Broome County Arena where ladies can get tickets for $14 at the B-Sens Executive Office or Broome County Box Office.
