Orlando City B News Release

MELBOURNE, Fla. - After two consecutive road games, Orlando City B (1-4-1, 4 points) returns to Titan Soccer Complex to take on FC Montreal (0-4-0, 0 points) on Sunday, May 1 at 7:30 p.m. E.T.

This is the first meeting between these two teams, with Orlando City B in its inaugural season and FC Montreal in its second year in the United Soccer League (USL). The game will be streamed online at www.OrlandoCitySC.com/LIVE.

"It's a start of a busy period for us, we play Sunday, Wednesday and Saturday. A real emphasis is going to be on the recovery protocols for the guys to make sure they are well prepared, that they have recovered quickly and are ready to go for what's going to be a tough period," said OCB Head Coach Anthony Pulis. "It's one that we are looking forward to. Three home games in a week. We had a two-week road trip, which was positive. For one and a half game I thought we played well, better than what we have been, so hopefully now we can take some good steps forward this week and have some good performances."

Sunday kicks off a busy week for OCB. FC Cincinnati comes to Melbourne on Wednesday, May 4 and Bethlehem Steel FC follows on Saturday, May 7.

In their previous match, forward Bryan Róchez earned his first goal of the season just five minutes after Harrisburg opened the scoring. The Honduran international tied the game from the penalty spot after midfielder Tony Rocha was brought down in the box. The Islanders retook the lead before halftime, and Pulis made three second-half substitutions to try and equalize.

Defender Tyler Turner seeks to continue his positive form after being named the USL Player of the Week for a brace against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds on April 22 that led to OCB's first win of the season. Goalkeeper Mark Ridgers has also displayed an impressive form, registering 21 saves in five games.

FC Montreal is two games into a five-game road trip, dropping their first two against Wilmington and, most recently, 2-1 against Rochester on Saturday. FC Montreal plays the Charlotte Independence and Bethlehem Steel FC on May 7 and May 15, respectively.
