Orioles Name Former Jaxx Manager Dave Trembley Interim Manager

(Jackson, TN) June 19th- The Baltimore Orioles fired manager Sam Perlozzo and have named bullpen coach and former West Tenn Diamond Jaxx manager Dave Trembley the interim manager.
Trembley managed the Diamond Jaxx during the inaugural 1998 season as well as the 1999 campaign. He had a managerial record of 150-131 in his two years with the Diamond Jaxx. Trembley led the Diamond Jaxx to a franchise record 84 wins and a trip to the Southern League championship series in 1999. The Diamond Jaxx lost that series to Orlando in four games.
Trembley will make his major league managerial debut tonight as the Orioles take on the San Diego Padres from Petco Park in San Diego.
