BILOXI, MS - The Milwaukee Brewers have announced the following roster moves that affect the Shuckers roster prior to tonight's 6:40 pm game against the Tennessee Smokies at MGM Park.

SUMMARY:

Nathan Orf, INF, has been transferred to Triple-A Colorado Springs

- Drew Gagnon, RHP, has been transferred to Triple-A Colorado Springs

- Parker Berberet, C, has been activated to the Biloxi roster

- Hobbs Johnson, LHP, has been reinstated from the 7-day disabled list

Orf, 26, has appeared in 19 games this season, reaching base safely in 16 of them. Orf is batting .268 (15x56) with two doubles, one RBI and 12 walks. Orf ranks fourth in the Southern League in on-base percentage (.440) and leads the league in HBP (6). In 146 games with the Shuckers, Orf has posted a .284 average with 28 doubles, four triples, two home runs, 44 RBIs and .386 on-base percentage. The St. Charles, MO native was a non-drafted free agent signing of the Milwaukee Brewers in 2011 out of Baylor.

Gagnon, 25, has not allowed a run this season in five games (one start) over 13.1 innings pitched for Biloxi. He has struck out 13 and walked four. Gagnon earned the win on Opening Night, April 7 against the Chattanooga Lookouts, tossing three scoreless frames. Gagnon picked up a save on April 25, tossing three scoreless innings to finish a 5-0 shutout of the Mississippi Braves. Gagnon has appeard in 55 games (46 starts) over four seasons at the AA level, going 17-16 with a 4.39 ERA. The Brentwood, CA native was Milwaukee's third round selection in 2011 out of Long Beach State.

Berberet, 26, joins the Biloxi roster after playing in 53 games for the Shuckers in 2015. The Yorba Linda, CA native hit .232 last season with six doubles, one triple, two home runs and 20 RBIs. The Cypress College product reached base safely in 42 consecutive games in 2013, while with Low-A Wisconsin, which included a 19-game hitting streak.

Johnson, 24, was placed on the disabled list on April 21. The Rocky Mount, NC native has appeared in six games for the Shuckers this season, posting no record and a 6.75 ERA (4er/8ip), seven strikeouts and five walks. The 2015 Southern League mid-season All-Star has a 7-8 record, with a 3.88 ERA over 31 games (25 starts) for the Shuckers in two seasons. Johnson was selected by the Brewers in the 14th round of the 2013 draft out of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

The Shuckers current roster is made up of 25 active players and one on the disabled list.

The Shuckers open a five-game series against the Tennessee Smokies tonight at MGM Park. RHP Adrian Houser (0-2, 7.20) seeks his first win of the season for Biloxi, while LHP Rob Zastryzny (2-0, 3.52) attempts to stay perfect. First pitch is scheduled for 6:40 p.m., with coverage starting at 6:20 p.m. on the Biloxi Shuckers' Radio Network's flagship station, WGCM 1240-AM, 100.9-FM and Pascagoula' WPMO 1580-AM, and the TuneIn Radio app. The contest can also be seen on milb.tv.
