The wait is over and the quest for the Clark Cup starts tonight. Welcome to the 2017-18 Dubuque Fighting Saints regular season.
Tonight the Saints host the Chicago Steel on Opening Night, presented by American Trust, at Our House. This game will be a match of the Eastern Conference's top two regular season teams from last season and a rematch of the Eastern Conference Final, that the Steel won en route to a Clark Cup championship.
The first 3,000 fans to enter Our House tonight, will be the recipients of a magnetic schedule for the Fighting Saints 2017-18 regular season courtesy of American Trust.
Opening Night, presented by American Trust, will be the regular season debut for Fighting Saints head coach Oliver David. Alongside David, the Saints will be returning 10 players from last season; including Captain Cole Guttman and starting goalie Jaxon Castor. The rest of the roster includes seven new forwards, four new defensemen and one new goaltender. The roster also includes Santeri Virtanen, who played in the preseason last year for the Saints.
