The Omaha Beef have moved and they are bringing their loyal fan following with them. Join them as they kick off their 14th season in the new, state of the art Ralston Arena. Excitement is at a fever pitch and growing in anticipation of the inaugural kick-off against the Nebraska Lawdogs on Sunday, March 03, 2013 at 3 pm. A 1:00 Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will precede the game that everyone is encouraged to attend.
Fans will recognize many familiar faces when the Beef takes the field. Among them, returning coaches, Andy Yost and James Kerwin, veteran players and fan favorites like the Prime Dancers, and the Meatheads, and of course, all their fellow fans who will be there, making themselves comfortable in the new and extremely fan friendly environment. There is also some exciting changes in store such as new uniforms and new opponents in the CPIFL league which the Beef have joined this season. The new league will afford fans the opportunity to attend away games in close proximity to Omaha. The team is also under the direction of new owners, Rich Tokheim and Jim Tokheim, who are committed to maintaining the strong fan support that the Beef has always enjoyed and continuing its tradition as an affordable and family friendly sports entertainment option.
