LAST GAME: The RedHawks 5-4 fell for the second straight day to the Portland Beavers and have a two game losing streak for just the second time this season. Nelson Cruz staked Eric Hurley to a two run lead with his ninth home run of the season, but the Beaver's offense would have the last laugh. Oklahoma lead 2-1 after two and 4-3 after three innings. Portland's Chip Ambres hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the seventh off Kameron Loe to take the lead for good. Low blew the RedHawks third save in six games and took his first loss of the season.

BACK-TO-BACK JACK: Nelson Cruz has hit home runs in consecutive games for the second time this season. Nelson also accomplished the feat on April 17 and 18 at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark against Round Rock. Cruz went 1-2 with a single and two walks on April 20 in his effort to make it three straight. It marks the fourth time this month that a RedHawks player has gone yard in two straight games. Chris Shelton did it first on April 4 and 5 (0-4 on April 6), and Nate Gold followed with home runs on April 15 and 16 (2-6 on April 17 with two singles).

ONE RUN FINALS: The RedHawks dropped to 5-5 in one run games this season with last night's loss. Oklahoma has lost five of its last six one-run games, including both games of this series.

DAY-TO-DAY: Drew Meyer is day-to-day after leaving last night's game with a strained groin. The RedHawks utility man left the game in the seventh inning and was replaced by Casey Benjamin at short. Oklahoma is already down to 11 position players due to roster activity with the Rangers.

TWO BAGS TO START: John Mayberry doubled in his first career Triple-A at bast yesterday. The former first round pick hit a second inning two-bagger off Cesar Ramos in yesterday's loss. Mayberry was promoted earlier Tuesday and was in the starting lineup playing left field last night and finished the game 1-4. He also drove in his first run with that base hit.

MORE ON MAYBERRY: The newest member of the RedHawks roster reached base in 19 of his 21 games with Frisco, including a nine-game hitting streak from April 14 through 25. His start in left yesterday was his first of the year after having played 19 games as the RoughRiders primary right fielder.

PORTLAND AT A GLANCE: The Beavers have won three consecutive games for just the second time this season... Portland is now 2-0 in one run games, both in this series.

AROUND THE ORGANIZATION: Texas lost 9-5 to Kansas City... Frisco edged San Antonio 11-9... Bakersfield beat Modesto 3-1... Clinton held off Great Lakes for a 4-2 win...

DOT-DOT-DOT: Since Frank Francisco was recalled to Texas last week, the RedHawks bullpen has allowed at least one run in eight straight games, going 24.1 IP, 26 H, 17 ER, 6.29 ERA. Oklahoma relievers are 1-3 since April 22... Five of nine runners left on base last night were stranded in scoring position... Nelson Cruz now ranks among the league leaders with a .387 average, the first time any Re
