Oilers Recall Mark Arcobello

February 5, 2013 - American Hockey League (AHL) - Oklahoma City Barons News Release


Oklahoma City - The Edmonton Oilers, parent club of the Oklahoma City Barons, have recalled forward Mark Arcobello, Oilers General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today.

Arcobello, a 5-9, 165-pounder from Milton, Conn., is skating in his third season with the Barons. He is among the franchise leaders in goals (40), assists (60) and points (100) in Barons franchise history. This season, he has 39 points (14-25-39) in 43 games played. He recently represented the Barons at the 2013 AHL All Star Classic where he had three assists, including the primary assist on the game-winning goal with 12 seconds left to play.

The Yale University graduate played 131 games with the Bulldogs over four seasons, scoring 116 points (49-67-116). He began his professional career with the Stockton Thunder in 2010-11 where he scored 21 points (7-14-21) in 33 games.

The Barons return to action this weekend with two home games against the Grand Rapids Griffins. Friday is Concession Specials night with $1 hot dogs and $2 draft beers. Saturday is another Drive Away Every Saturday. One lucky fan will drive away in a Ford Taurus from John Vance Auto. Faceoff for both games is 7 p.m. at the Cox Convention Center. Both games can be heard on the Barons flagship station, 96.1 KXY.
