- Friday's game marks the return of former Oil King netminder Patrick Dea. The St. Albert native is 7-5-3-0 this season with the Americans and holds a 3.41 GAA and 1 shutout.

- The Oil Kings currently have a record of 7-20-3-0

- Trey Fix-Wolansky is continuing his offensive ways this season collecting 33 points (11G,22A) in 30 games. The Edmonton native has 87 career points in 100 games.

- Tomas Soustal has delivered since his arrival in Edmonton. The Czech native has 30 points in 27 games this season.
