COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Ohio Machine are proud to announce the date for the fifth annual Ohio Machine Lacrosse Convention. The event will take place on Saturday, December 1, at the Embassy Suites in Dublin, Ohio.

This one-day gathering is the premier lacrosse educational event in the Midwest that brings coaches, referees and athletes from the youth, high school, club and collegiate levels together to facilitate the growth of the game in the region.

"The goal of this incredible event is to provide a one-stop shop for lacrosse coaches and administrators in the Midwest," said Ohio Machine Head Coach Bear Davis. "The convention has received tremendous support in its brief time from the lacrosse community. It is our mission to continue to provide the best lacrosse education on all aspects of the game to this growing community."

Open to coaches of all levels, the convention schedule offers workshops and lectures covering everything from offensive and defensive game strategy and tactics to goalie play, faceoff and wing play, practice planning and even player strength and conditioning. Returning this year to the event will be the High School Leadership Program for both boys and girls captains, as well as referee education and recertification.

Headlined by the coaching staff of the 2017 MLL Champion Ohio Machine, the convention will also feature speakers and instructors from programs around the country. Those scheduled to be in attendance include Major League Lacrosse, US Lacrosse, The Ohio State University and several other prominent lacrosse organizations throughout the Midwest. Registration will go live next month, and a full schedule will be released closer to the event.
