OF Mike Burgess Named a Carolina League All-Star

Potomac Nationals News Release
The Carolina League announced today that Potomac OF Mike Burgess has been selected a 2010 Carolina League All-Star. Burgess is making his second consecutive appearance in the mid-summer showcase that pits the best of the Carolina League against the best from the California League.
Burgess currently ranks second in the Carolina League with 44 RBI. He led the league with 30 RBI during the month of May. He's also hit five home runs.
This season the game returnzs to BB&T Coastal Field in Myrtle Beach after it was there the last time the Carolina League hosted in 2008. The game takes place Tuesday June 22nd.
The P-Nats face Lynchburg tonight at 7:05 pm. The broadcast can be heard live starting at 6:50pm on www.potomacnationals.com. Potomac returns to the Pfitz next Friday after a 7-game road swing against the Hillcats. Tickets can be purchased by calling 703-599-2311.
