NTDP Promo Schedule Announced

Plymouth, Mich. - USA Hockey's National Team Development Program today announced the promotional schedule and theme nights for the upcoming 20th anniversary season at USA Hockey Arena. Of 36 regular-season home games during the 2016-17 season, the NTDP will offer a total of 23 promotion nights to fans in attendance. Fans will have the opportunity to collect NTDP themed items, participate in special theme nights, and interact with NTDP players.
Star Wars Night will make its return to USA Hockey Arena on Saturday, Jan. 28, when the Under-18 Team takes on the Tri-City Storm of the United States Hockey League. The NTDP will wear specialty Star Wars themed jerseys that will be auctioned off through the NHL Auctions website with proceeds benefiting C.S. Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Among the festivities planned for Star Wars Night are appearances by characters from the film franchise, as well as a ceremonial puck drop.
Mascot Madness will return on Friday, Jan. 13, when the Under-17 Team takes on the USHL's Green Bay Gamblers. Local sports and business mascots will converge at USA Hockey Arena to meet and greet fans and participate in an on-ice game.
Promotional giveaways for this year include welcome back magnet schedules (Sept. 23-24), Under-17 Team poster giveaway and autographs (Saturday, Oct. 1) and Under-18 team poster giveaway and autographs (Saturday, Dec. 10).
Fans will also have a chance to skate with the Under-18 Team on Saturday, Dec. 10, and the Under-17 Team on Monday, Jan. 16.

SINGLE-GAME TICKETS AVAILABLE
Single-game tickets are available for purchase for the 2016-17 season. Tickets remain for fans to celebrate the NTDP's 20th anniversary season. The NTDP home schedule for the 2016-17 season features numerous marquee matchups, including the home opener on Friday, Sep. 23, with the Under-17 Team taking on the USHL's Muskegon Lumberjacks. The Under-18 Team takes on NCAA Division I opponents Princeton University (Saturday, Oct. 29) and Arizona State University (Friday, Feb. 24 and Saturday, Feb. 25), the defending Clark Cup Champions Tri-City Storm (Friday, Jan. 28 and Friday, Jan. 29) and plays its final regular season game on Saturday, March 25, against Bloomington. MINI-PLANS AVAILABLE FOR 20, 10 AND SIX GAMES
The NTDP is giving fans flexibility to create custom ticket plans around their schedule by selecting a custom-built schedule in quantities of 36, 20, 10 and six game plans. The flex-plans are a solution for the hockey fan that is unable to attend every home game, but still wants to enjoy the same significant savings of a season ticket. The packages consist of 20, 10 and six vouchers that are redeemable for any game. The vouchers can be redeemed one at a time, two at a time, all for one game or any other combination. Vouchers must be redeemed at the USA Hockey Arena box office for actual game tickets. Seats can be picked at the time of redemption.

Team USA fans can still lock in low prices and see every USHL opponent at least once for the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the NTDP at USA Hockey Arena. NTDP full season ticket holders receive excellent benefits, such as savings off box offices prices, first priority for seats at international tournaments and special events, and discounts at the USA Hockey Arena store. The NTDP is also offering a 36-game flex-plan, which is a solution for hockey fans that are unable to attend every home game, but still wants to enjoy the same significant savings of a season ticket package. The package consists of 36 vouchers that are redeemable for any game. The vouchers can be redeemed one at a time, two at a time, all for one game, or any other combination. Vouchers must be redeemed at the USA Hockey Arena box office for actual game tickets. Seats can be picked at the time of redemption.
