LETHBRIDGE, AB - The Lethbridge Hurricanes Hockey Club have claimed overage defenseman Shaun Dosanjh off waivers from the Kamloops Blazers while placing overage defenseman Kord Pankewicz on waivers. Dosanjh, 20, has appeared in 142 games collecting 10 points (3g-7a) along with 113 penalty minutes in his Western Hockey League career with the Vancouver Giants, Prince George Cougars and Kamloops Blazers. The 6'1 ", 201-pound left-hand shot defenseman has appeared in 18 games this season with the Blazers and Cougars collecting four points (1g-3a) along with 18 penalty minutes and a plus-8 rating. Pankewicz, 20, appeared in 155 games as a member of the Hurricanes over parts of three seasons scoring 97 points (12g-85a) along with 147 penalty minutes and a plus-22 rating. The Lethbridge Hurricanes are back in action on Wednesday when they welcome the Prince Albert Raiders at the ENMAX Centre at 7:00pm The Hurricanes will host the 21st Annual Canadian Tire Toque and Teddy Toss on Friday when they face the Red Deer Rebels.
