New Scoreboard Coming to Holman Stadium in 2017

Nashua Silver Knights

January 23, 2017 - Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL) - Nashua Silver Knights

News Release

It is official! Holman Stadium will be getting a major upgrade this season! The new scoreboard features a 6 feet high by 23 feet wide video board that can be utilized in many different ways to add to our entertainment value. The new project also includes a new sound system that will be mounted to the bottom of the scoreboard. This will vastly improve our fan experience as the sound will be coming from the outfield and not the press box area. From our demo of the new sound system back in September, we know that all our fans will notice the dramatic increase in sound quality.

The funds for this project come from a City of Nashua trust account that was established for this very reason after the Nashua Pride days. Silver Knights owner, Drew Weber, pledged his continued support of baseball in Nashua by paying the lease payment upfront for two years. The total cost of the project came to $173,000. We anticipate that the scoreboard and sound system will be installed in early-mid April.

We owe a big thank you to Mayor Donchess, the DPW, the Board of Public Works, the finance committee and the aldermen for their continued support of the Silver Knights and keeping Holman Stadium up to date for all those who attend events.

We can't wait to show it off for you all this season! We know you will enjoy!
