BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - Today, the New Jersey Devils made the following transactions:
Assigned (F) Mitch Hoelscher to Ottawa (OHL)
Assigned (D) Xavier Bernard to Drummondville (QMJHL)
Assigned (F) Ryan Schmelzer to Binghamton (AHL)
Assigned (D) Tariq Hammond to Binghamton (AHL)
Released (G) Colton Phinney from his PTO.
The Devils will open up the 2018-19 season at home on Saturday, October 6 at 7:05 p.m. against the Toronto Marlies. Tickets are on sale now.
