February 10, 2010 - NBA G League (G League) News Release
MAD ANTS REACQUIRE RON HOWARD
The NBA D-League's Fort Wayne Mad Ants announced they have reacquired Ron Howard and have released Jamelle Cornley due to injury. Howard, the Mad Ants leading scorer, has recovered from a broken finger that he suffered in early January. Howard will join teammate Rob Kurz on the NBA D-League Eastern Conference All-Star Team this Saturday, February 13. Coverage of the D-League All-Star game can be seen on NBA TV.

Desmon Farmer led all scorers with 31 points, while Rod Benson recorded another double-double with 18 points and 10 boards for Reno. All five Idaho starters scored in double figures, led by a 29-point effort from Donnell Taylor. The remaining four Stampede starters all registered double-doubles on the day.
Mike Harris scored 33 points for Rio Grande Valley and Will Conroy had his fifth career D-League triple-double. Milwaukee Bucks assignee Joe Alexander led the Mad Ants with 19 points. Ron Howard scored 14 points in his first game back in three weeks due to a broken finger.
Othyus Jeffers scored 21 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead Iowa over Erie. The BayHawks were led by John Bryant, who finished with 18 points while Mike Gansey registered 12 points and a game high 15 rebounds.
Romel Beck scored 23 points to lead Dakota over Bakersfield. Maurice Baker added 14 points and 11 rebounds. Blake Ahearn led Bakersfield with 25 points.
ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS: A look at NBA D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games:
28 players with NBA D-League experience competed in 11 NBA games last night, five as starters.
Lou Williams scored 16 points off the bench for the Sixers.
Donte Greene started and scored 24 points for Sacramento.
