Naturals to place single-game playoff tickets on sale Tuesday

The Northwest Arkansas Naturals currently own a two game lead for first place over the Tulsa Drillers and are working towards finishing the second half with the best record in the Texas League North which would ensure them of a playoff spot. Single game tickets for potential post-season dates will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, September 1st at 10 A.M.
With eight games remaining in the season and four more head-to-head games against second-place Tulsa, including Monday at Arvest Ballpark, postseason play is within reach. The Naturals made the playoffs last season and prior to their arrive in Springdale, the Wichita Wranglers had made the post-season in eight of ten seasons as the Kansas City Royals' Double-A affiliate, reaching the Texas League Championship Series in the 2006 season.
If the Naturals qualify for the postseason, they would square off against the Springfield Cardinals, who won the North Division crown for the first half of the 2009 season. Games one and two would be played at Hammons Field in Springfield on Wednesday, September 9th and Thursday, September 10th. The first playoff game at Arvest Ballpark will be Friday, September 11 at 7 P.M. Games four and five, if necessary, would also be played at Arvest Ballpark, on Saturday, September 12th at 7 P.M. and Sunday, September 13th at 6 P.M.
The Texas League Championship series would begin on Tuesday, September 15th at the site of the South Division Champion. Should they find themselves in the League Championship Series, the Naturals would host game three on Friday, September 18th at 7 P.M. Games four and five of that series, should they be necessary, would also be played at Arvest Ballpark, on Saturday, September 19th at 1 P.M. and Sunday, September 20th at 6 P.M. In all cases, stadium gates would open one hour prior to first pitch.
All Naturals' season ticket holders and mini pack holders have already been sent information on how to get their playoff tickets. Season seat holders will be guaranteed the same seat location, and mini-pack holders will have the opportunity to select similar seats based upon availability. Season ticket or mini pack holders who would like to reserve their seats are encouraged to contact their account rep or return payment to our office along the guidelines listed on the invoice.
Tickets to any games which are not played may be refunded in entirety or credited toward future season tickets or ticket plans.
