Nailers Open Training Camp Friday

WHEELING, WV - The Wheeling Nailers will open up their training camp in preparation of the 2005-06 season, at WesBanco Arena on Friday October 7th.
All practices will be open and free to the public. The Nailers will take the ice on Friday October 7th at 10:00 AM with the first practice session running until 12:00 PM. Complete Training Camp times are listed on the attached calendar.
The Nailers will have their first annual Black/White inter-squad scrimmage on Tuesday October 11th from 11:30-1:30. Fans will be given the chance to check out the new Nailers team and pick a seat for their season tickets for the upcoming season.
The team will also play two pre-season games during training camp, both games against the Johnstown Chiefs. On Thursday October 13th the Nailers will travel to Greensburg, PA to play the Chiefs at Kirk Nevin Ice Arena at 7 PM, and on Saturday October 15th the Nailers will host the Chiefs at WesBanco Arena.
Saturday October 15th will also be the annual Nailers Fan-Fest, where kids of all ages can participate in games, locker room tours, and player autograph sessions. The free Fan-Fest activities start at 5:30 with the game following at 7:30. Tickets to the October 15th pre-season game are only $5 and can be purchased at the WesBanco Arena box office or at the Nailers office.
The Nailers will cap off training camp with the Meet the Nailers Night at TJ's Sports Garden on October 19th starting at 5:30.
