Nagle Goaltender of the Week

Toledo, OH - A perfect 3-0-0-0 week has led Walleye goaltender Pat Nagle to be named the CCM ECHL Goaltender of the Week for October 30 through November 5.

It the sixth time in his career that Pat Nagle has received this award, which is tied for the third most in league history. Nagle is behind only Joel Martin (9) and Jeff Jakaitis (8) in ECHL history as winners of the weekly award. He won all three games that the Walleye played last week while posting a 2.03 goals against average and a .933 save percentage. Twice earlier this season Nagle finished as a runner up for the ECHL weekly honor.

The week started for Nagle with a 26 save performance Tuesday night in a 3-2 win at Worcester followed up by a 33 save outing Saturday night at home in a 5-2 win over Kalamazoo. The 30-year-old goaltender finished up the week with 24 saves in a 3-2 win at Indy Sunday afternoon.

The native of Bloomfield, Michigan currently leads all ECHL goaltenders with six wins (6-0-1-0 record) while ranking second with a 1.97GAA and is tied for ninth with a .931 save percentage. Nagle is his ECHL career has appeared in 230 games with a record of 129-59-25, 11 shutouts, 2.59GAA and .912SVP. Prior to turning professional, he spent four years at Ferris State University with a 45-42-11 record with a 2.32GAA and .916SVP. Nagle was a CCHA First Team All-Star in the 2010-11 season when he had a 2.02GAA and .923SVP.
